Tiểu Bang Massachusetts Thông Qua Dự Luật cấm Sử Dụng Cờ Đỏ CSVN,
chỉ xử dụng Cờ Vàng đại diện cho Việt Nam.

(Vietland) Các Dân Biểu Thượng Và Hạ Viện Tiểu Bang Massachusetts vừa thông qua nghị quyết trong cuối tháng 3 năm 2009 là Cấm Cờ Đỏ Cộng Sản VN Được Treo ở tiểu bang nầy . Theo Nghị Quyết chung (H 3415) của Tiểu Bang Massachusetts gồm nhiều điều khoản khác nhau , trong đó có điều khoản Cấm treo cờ đỏ CSVN được thông qua với House 145-0, Senate 37-0 . Trong điều khoản ghi rõ như sau :

" BAN NORTH VIETNAMESE FLAG - This bill would provide that the old South Vietnamese flag be the only flag depicting the country of Vietnam that may be displayed at any state-sponsored public function or in any public institution of learning. Supporters note that the flag, a symbol of resilience, freedom and democracy, was the official flag of South Vietnam from 1954 until that country surrendered to North Vietnam in 1975. They say that the flag of the current oppressive Communist regime of Vietnam is offensive to many Vietnamese-American s and should not be used at public events."

Tạm dịch : "CẤM TREO CỜ BẮC VIỆT - Nghị Quyết chỉ định lá cờ cũ Nam Việt Nam (Cờ Vàng) là lá cờ duy nhất đại diện cho quốc gia Việt Nam có thể dùng để treo trong các buổi sinh hoạt công cộng do Tiểu Bang bảo trợ hay được treo ở các cơ sở Giáo Dục công cộng . Theo các nhà yểm trợ nhận định là Cờ Nam Việt Nam (Cờ Vàng) là biểu tượng của sự Quật Cường, Nhân Ái và Dân Chủ từ năm 1954 cho tới khi đất nước rơi vào tay CSVN năm 1975 . Hơn nữa cờ CSVN là lá cờ chủ nghĩa CSVN mang tính đàn áp, kích động tinh thần người Mỹ Gốc Việt nên không thể dùng để treo trong các buổi sinh hoạt công cộng .

Điều khoản nầy được thông quốc hội Tiểu Bang Massachusetts thông qua 145-0, Senate 37-0 là một chiến thắng của Người Việt Hải Ngoại tại Tiểu Bang Massachusetts nói riêng và toàn thế giới nói chung .
